Abby Ramstad and Michelle Hunt spent the last 10 years working together as stylists and educators in San Francisco salons.

During this time they each enjoyed working with various brands such as Oribe, Goldwell Color, Bumble &bumble, Kerastase, Kevin Murphy and RandCo.

The first conversations of Golden West Salon centered on an a space stylists and clients would find inspiring, comfortable, creative and beautiful.

A place to linger over a glass of wine, a neighborhood space to connect and catch up on the latest happenings, an oasis of self care and indulgence.

They envisioned working along side the most talented people they had met during their many years in the industry. As luck would have it they were able to create their dream team to join them at Golden West Salon.

In an industry that is constantly evolving, Michelle and Abby are incredibly passionate about in salon education and believe it helps to inspire stylists and nurture growth. Advanced education keeps both stylists and clients on trend, fresh, beautiful and excited about their look.
